I could not believe my eyes the first time I viewed the grocery store sequence from one of the quintessential W.C. Fields comedies, "It's a Gift" (1934). I found Fields and this material to be fearlessly funny, while breathtaking in that the piece actually made it to the screen.Order up some kumquats and watch out for Mr. Muckle....
