Overheard in the Kitties Lounge
The favorite pastime in our home, like most people, is talking about our pets' potty habits.After the ceremonial cleaning of the cat box, I suggested to Donna that the boys might appreciate a little more litter.
Twenty-four years of marriage. Actual conversation:
Mike: I'd add some filler on the bottom to start. I suspect they don't like to step in urine puddles. ... Unlike me, I'm always into wading. ... I'm sure I mentioned that on our first date.
Donna: I don't think so.
Mike: I guess it paid to keep my mouth shut.
