Which reminds me of a stunt that Dr. John Harvey Kellogg was fond of staging every Thanksgiving @ the Battle Creek San:
Viz., setting up a cage with a live turkey in the main dining room of "the San," over which was a banner prominently proclaiming for all to see A THANKFUL BIRD.
(The better, of course, to reinforce the greater vegetarian agenda of the "San" when it came to health and dietary reform.)
